The full title should be, "Crouching Tiger, Poorly Hidden Butterfly" but that's a mouthful, as I fear the blissfully ignorant insect shall soon be.

Update:
I scrapped the original, inked a new version then did this vectorization and decided I liked it best amongst the three. Thanks for the nice comments on the first one that motivated me to go back and redo it from scratch to make it better.

As always, 100% drawn in Inkscape, except for the (second) original pencil sketch it is based on.

Hmm, I never thought of it that way. I just gravitate towards more neutral tones without thinking about it. I wonder if there's any historical study of colors used in different periods according to culture and technology? It might be pretty interesting!

yes :) i have never thought of it myself before i saw ur picture and then i thought of all the old cartoon in my childhood.. there has to be somethng there.. wonder how people would react if they saw a cartoon now with those colors.. if the show would have been a succsess?
